BIENVENIDOS MI GENTE

HISPANOLOGY, in our terminology is the study of all things Hispanic.

We are a bilingual organization dedicated to the arts, independent music, filmmakers, commerce, culture and community. Our vision is to establish a networking platform and inspirational vehicle that aims to provide exposure and deliver information, while establishing relationships and empowering the Hispanic sector. Our mission is to bridge the gap between Hispanic entertainers, artists, entrepreneurs,

and consumers, while producing engaging content and providing appealing value to the Hispanic community. Anyone with an open mind and willingness to learn about the Hispanic culture is welcomed to join us, as we are an all inclusive platform celebrating Hispanic heritage.

Our Story

Every idea starts with a problem, but ours was not so simple. Our organization and movement was inspired by the 2020 United States Presidential Elections. In our opinion, Hispanic people are not being acknowledged when it comes to United States politics. As of now, we have one American lawyer and jurist who serves as an associate justice of the Supreme Court of the United States, Sonia Maria Sotomayor. She is the third woman, first woman of color, the first Hispanic and Latina to serve on the Supreme Court. Hispanics also have the youngest woman politician and activist in congress, Alexandria Ocasio Cortez, AOC.

We at Hispanology do not consider our organization a political platform but understand the importance of having a voice, representation and leadership within our society. At the very least, we need to support our own businesses and artists because we have the numbers to thrive. Our motivation to create this organization began because the Hispanic community as a whole, feel we are laboring under the shadow of some common groups that exert a tight hold and dominance over the electoral base. Hispanics expect to be recognized because of how demographic shifts across the United States have changed the composition of the electorate in our presidential elections. Therefore, we are no longer the minority! In fact, Hispanic voters have come to make up increasingly larger shares of the electorate in every state within this country. This calculation has prompted a movement and commenced a force to be reckoned with. So us at Hispanology demand our share of validity within todays society and feel the Hispanic community can support its own businesses and ultimately raise its economic value.

America was built on generations of immigrants. Throughout U.S. history the country experienced successive waves of immigration, from enslaved people from West Africa who arrived against their will in the American colonies in the early 1600's, to Europe, and later Asia and Latin America. Our aim at Hispanology is to be an inclusive and prominent group within the United States that strives for the ultimate American dream as every other group does. After all, isn't it the land of opportunity? The Hispanic community has always been willing to support other groups, especially in commerce. Yet we are aware of and understand how some groups and communities come together to support only their own. While our organization's main focus is to amplify the Hispanic community, we welcome and embrace all ethnicities. Our organization will stand together by becoming united, have a willingness to speak out and most of all, supporting ours.

Our solution is being a community of Hispanic people having traditions, institutions, collective activities and common interests as the average United States citizen has. Our pledge at Hispanology is simple, never to just stand on the sidelines! By circumventing traditional channels, networking from within the Hispanic industry, supporting Hispanic businesses and entrepreneurs, exposing our artists and musicians, promoting our products and services and conducting educational workshops, we will elevate the Hispanic economy and become a powerhouse in todays society. We are living in the moment, but we also promise to stay committed and in the now, with an eye towards the future as it pertains to our greater Hispanic cause, thank you...
